Lawyer, I. Ray Byrd, Jr. is a native of Salem, Virginia and has practiced law in the Valley since becoming licensed by the Virginia State Bar in 1987. Prior to opening his own firm in 1992, he practiced with the Roanoke Law firms of Gentry, Locke, Rakes and Moore and Bounds and Dorsey, P.C.
Ray received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1981 and his law degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1987. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, and the Salem/Roanoke County Bar Association and practices primarily in State Courts in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding jurisdictions.
